Guardian provides quality fuel system installations by adhering to the following guidelines:
PERSONNEL: All Guardian technicians are fully trained and maintain the highest standards of professionalism in conduct, appearance and craftsmanship. All crew leaders are tenured employees with years of experience installing and removing petroleum equipment.
SAFETY: We make it first and we make it last! Guardian has an energetic safety program headed up by our Corporate Safety Director and Branch Safety Directors at each of our locations. Our employees observe some of the toughest safety standards in the industry. Many of our installations and service personnel have taken the 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training in accordance with 29 CFR1910.120. We are also a drug-free workplace.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETINGS: Guardian conducts pre-construction meetings for all installation jobs to minimize the chances of misinterpretation and miscommunication. We request that all parties be present to review the scope of work, the schedule, equipment, coordination of sub-contractors, to ensure we are delivering exactly what you need.
SCHEDULES: Guardian partners with the customer to prepare computerized schedules for all projects. We also update the customer periodically on the progress of the project and any necessary changes. The result is a completed project within the promised time frame.
POST-INSTALLATION INSPECTIONS: Guardian includes a post-installation inspection for most projects. This valuable quality control procedure is generally performed two weeks after completion of the project to verify that everything is still operating properly and your staff understands how to use the equipment properly and how to correct any problems.
INSURANCE: Guardian takes pride in protecting our customers. In addition to the generous general liability insurance coverage, Guardian carries pollution insurance as well.
SUMMARY: While the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States has placed strict regulations on the methods of storing and conveying petroleum-based products, they do not regulate the installers of such systems. For that reason, it is of the utmost importance that you choose a contractor who can demonstrate that they have the experience, training and knowledge to perform the work in accordance with the federal and state regulations and nationally recognized codes of practice, such as the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) Recommended Practices publications and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) publications, NFPA 30, NFPA 30A, NFPA 31, NFPA 37, NFPA 70, NFPA 110, NFPA 329, NFPA 407 and others, as well as the American Petroleum Institute (API) publications and IFCI, BOCA, UFC, Florida 62-761 Statues, EPA CFR 110-114 and all other industry guidelines and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
